Dr. Ana introduces Elida's daughter Stephanie at a recent performance. Dear Friends! Our Parents in Action Committee is getting together to help one of our most dedicated volunteers. OCCTAC parent Elida has two children attending the center. Both her children are autistic. Her daughter has made such improvements that she is now singing opera in Italian, English and Spanish. Elida was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. Despite her illness she has been supporting her children and our center tirelessly, working long hours at the center and at times walking a 3-mile roundtrip to get from her home to our center. She has been there for us. We are trying to give back a little. Please come to the CAR WASH FOR ELIDA. We are raising funds for her medical care. Date: Saturday, April 11th starting at 8AM.
