We are really happy to announce that ORQUESTA CARIBE will play for us on June 13th!

Orquesta Caribe was founded in 1972 by Musical Director Armando Gomez. Originally comprised of Cuban exiles who settled in Orange County, Orquesta Caribe now consists of eleven musicians who perform traditional Cuban and Puerto Rican music such as Salsa, Son, Bolero, Cha-Cha, Merengue, and Cumbia.

Through its celebrated history, Orquesta Caribe has shared the stage with many of Latin Musics most famous musical stars including Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, El Gran Combo, Oscar De Leon, Eddie Santiago, Albita and many others.

The band is currently celebrating over thirty years as a mainstay in the Los Angeles and Orange County Latin music scene. They've been performing for countless Southern California audiences at many celebrated musical venues. Their performances include concerts, weddings, quinceaneras, night-clubs, parties and a wide variety of other special events.

Notable dates include performances for television station Univision and Actress Suzanne Somers; playing to audiences at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion Ballroom, the Four Seasons Hotel in Santa Barbara, Laguna Niguel and Marina Del Rey, the Beverly Hills Hotel, Royal Caribbean Cruises, J.C. Fandangos Night Club, the ship Queen Mary, the Grove Theater in Anaheim and countless others!

June 3rd: Enjoy A Meal At EL POLLO MEXICAN GRILL'S OCCTAC Fundraiser

OCCTAC Fundraiser for Parents at El Pollo Mexican Grill (Fairview and Warner) on June 3, 2009 from 9:30AM to 8:00 PM.

Famous for their authentic mesquite charbroiled chicken and homemade Mexican delicacies!
10% of sales will benefit OCCTAC so we can sponsor parents volunteers who cannot afford $50.00 for our June 13th Latin Dance Festival.

OCCTAC Summer Camp Enrolling Now!

Dear Friends!

Our week-long summer arts camps last year were such a success that we are offering them again for the summer of 2009, starting June 22nd until August 14th.
